Meet Karina

Karina is a Registered Nurse and Clinic Founder with extensive training and expertise in various specialties. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing with a specialisation in Acute & Critical Care from the University of Notre Dame in Sydney. Later, she completed a Master of Nursing (with Honours) from the University of Newcastle in 2021 and earned a post-graduate qualification as a Perioperative Nurse Surgical Assistant (PNSA) from La Trobe University in Melbourne, further expanding her skills and scope of practice.

Karina began her nursing career in the hospital system, where she gained strong foundational knowledge and experience in patient safety and care. Her work in the operating theatre sparked a passion for the intricacy, creativity, and transformative aspects of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Specialising in this field has given her the privilege of working alongside some of the world’s most renowned Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeons, allowing her to hone her precise fine-motor skills, develop her aesthetic sensibility and attention to detail, and gain a wealth of clinical and anatomical knowledge.

In addition to her work in plastic surgery, Karina has worked alongside internationally-recognized Dermatologists in clinic settings. This exposure has provided her with invaluable knowledge and experience in cosmetic dermatology, including injectable treatments, chemical peeling, hair restoration, and laser treatments, as well as skin cancer surgery, biopsies, and reconstructive flaps and grafts.

With her surgical background and experience, Karina continues to work as a Surgical Assistant in hospitals, while also dedicating herself to private practice as an Advanced Cosmetic Injector specialising in facial rejuvenation. She is committed to ongoing education and training, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in research and technology to bring the most innovative evidence-based treatments to her patients. Karina’s goal is to provide exceptional care and attention to detail to each of her patients, helping them achieve their desired outcomes and satisfaction throughout their non-surgical journey.
